My camera club was fortunate to be able to book an “Out of Hours” photography session at The Japanese Garden, near Dollar, Scotland.

Normally on public open sessions tripods are not allowed due to “Health and Safety”, but since this was a closed session only available to club members, we were allowed to set out tripods up!

Here are a few arty long exposure wide angle shots.

Canon EOS 80D, Canon 10-18mm kit lens at 10mm, Lee Big Stopper.

I really like the lack of sharpness here, combined with the long exposure, makes me feel tension between the serene nature of what is in the frame and the movement of almost everything in the frame.

These came out really nice. I really like your fellow photogs who are just moving enough to get some motion blur while not becoming ghosts.

And there was me mentally telling them to get out of the way! :joy:
