I had so much fun seeing everyones renditions last time I figured I would throw another shot out there.
This was shot near the darkest point of the year. I liked the semi complementary colors on the wall behind the signal contrasting with the frost covered signal.
One thought was to just pop the colors and then black and white the rest of the image…

I disliked the strong colours of the garage doors, so neutralised them. Then the vignetting in the corners could not be cropped out to my satisfaction without cropping too close to the signal; so I decided to go with rather than fight the vignette. Greater atmosphere for the
I note you did not post a render yourself. Was this intentional?
Nicely exposed, really not much to do. I did drag the curve down quite a bit, I feel winter scenes as dark, probably owing to the year I spent going back and forth to Alaska. Lensfun didn’t want to do any correction, but I rather like the vignetting…
My favorite was the undisturbed frost on the signal and sign as well.
I added the vignette and distortion data to the lensfun db last week so if you update your database it should be present now. I agree though, the vignette on this lens (Canon 35mm f1.4 VCM) isn’t so awful.
Oh, wonderful test opportunity, I checked rawproc’s report of lensfun currency, out of date, hit the update button, and now all three corrections for this camera/lens are lit. Unabashed promotion, rawproc’s lens correction management just works!
