This is a feature request.
First of all, I really like using RT, it’s my go to raw editor, but sometimes I really want to do local adjustments, which, I know, RT doesn’t support at this moment and this isn’t that big of a problem. I just generate 2 or more pictures and fuse them later (where is a will there is a way 
).
So, keeping the snapshots would be a great substitude to local editing and will help to improve the workflow.
It would be even better if the snapshot tool would allow to edit snapshots without creating a new one and deleting the old one.
Alternatively a “multible instance tool” could do it too ;).
Origin of the request:
I was editing a verry contrasty photo, which was splitted (in my mind) into 3 sections, which I developed/adjusted seperatly. Later I wanted to change one of the sections, but nether the history nor the snapshots were avariable anymore.
