long time user, first time poster, love Darktable
Since the update to version 5.4, I have a strange phenomenon: in lighttable view, I’m heavily using shortcuts (e.g. tab, f, 1-5, F1-F5 on mouse-over) to sort through larger amounts of images. Sometimes, the shortcuts randomly don’t work anymore until I change view by mouse or restart Darktable.
This didn’t happen with 5.2, and it only happens with the natively installed package on OpenSuse Tumbleweed. I tried the AppImage, and there this problem does not happen! So I’m using the AppImage for now.
I’m on OpenSuse Tumbleweed with Wayland. Anyone has the same problem?
Before opening an issue on Github, I’d like to be sure that it’s not a problem outside of Darktable, e.g. config issue, Wayland interface issue, … ?
Bazzite (basically Kinoite) current version, DT 5.4 Appimage: I have also experienced this sporadically since upgrading from nightly master to 5.4 stable when it was released. But I couldn’t reproduce it enough to file a bug report.
I thought it was connected to my custom lua-shortcuts but maybe not. I’ll launch DT through the CLI with -d common from now on and see if I’ll catch anything.
