Keyboard shortcuts randomly stop working

Heya,
since a few weeks every couple of minutes darktable stops responding to keyboard shortuts. I have yet to find a certain trigger. Starting with -d common also didn’t show anything that I would find suspicious. Alt+Tabbing in and out of dt fixes the issue, sometimes it takes 5-6 trips around for this to work.

I suspect it might be caused by KDE and not Darktable but wanted to hear if one of you has a similar issue or might know of a fix.

(dt 5.4.1 appimage, KDE 6.6.3 Wayland, Fedora Kinoite (bazzite)).

Hardware?

I have one or two keys that give a problem, and I know it is my super-cheap Amazon-Basics keyboard, that I have had for years.

I should have read properly before answering!

The keys themselves work outside of dt. The state I am describing affects all keyboard shortcuts.
