LCP: Set "Auto-matched correction parameters" as default?

RT always starts with “Lens correction profile” set to “None”. My camera and lenses are all known to lensfun. For me it would be very helpful, if I could set “Auto-matched correction parameters” as default.
Is it possible to change this?

Hi @tm-gx80,

You can set up your own default very easily. Here are a couple of links to check out:

I find it a bit weired to create a dynamic profile to enable “Auto-matched correction parameters”.

Especially since I think there’s a bug: A profile with “Auto-matched correction parameters” enabled, also saves the camera model and the lens:

[LensProfile]
LcMode=lfauto
LCPFile=
UseDistortion=true
UseVignette=true
UseCA=false
LFCameraMake=Panasonic
LFCameraModel=DMC-GX80
LFLens=Panasonic Lumix G Vario 12-32mm f/3.5-5.6 Asph. Mega OIS

When loading this profile, “LFCameraModel” and “LFLens” overwrite “LcMode=lfauto”! I confirmed this by deleting the last two lines from the profile manually. That gave me a profile that enables “Auto-matched correction parameters” for all camera/lens combinations.

hi,

you don’t need a dynamic profile. even a “normal” default one would be fine.

that’s the expected behaviour: the fact that pp3’s are just text files that you can edit is a feature, and what you did is one of the benefits of this.
