lensfun-update-data for Ubuntu 19.10?

I recently installed Kubuntu 19.10 and the latest development version of darktable and found that my lens was not detected. So, naturally I went to update my lensfun database and found that I didn’t have lensfun-update-data on my system.
Ok, so I went to the repository to find the lensfun deb package that provides that executable and cant find anything. I went through all 7 lensfun related deb packages and none of them contain lensfun-update-data.
Can anybody tell me how I can either get it or provide some other means of updating my lens database?

Thanks!

Did you try with sudo or as root?

It’s a python script, and the latest copy is here:

Go to the link, click the “raw” button to display the file unadorned by github, and save it somewhere on your hard drive. Now, you need python to run the script…

(K)Ubuntu 19.10 here. lensfun-update-data seems to come in liblensfun-bin package.

$ dpkg -S lensfun-update-data
liblensfun-bin: /usr/bin/lensfun-update-data
... ... ...

Thanks so much for your help! Installing liblensfun-bin took care of it!
