A HDR would look crap on this. A gradient filter in DT works really well and saves the stuffing around with gradient ND filters on camera. The dynamic range in the shot is fine for one decent exposure which you have achieved here.
@priort I was referring to combining three or more RAW exposures as a HDR. I don’t feel that approach would be justified for this scene. Even my two exposure modules could be looked at as a kinda HDR approach. You Pseudo HDR type approach works well on this image.
Also post edits even if you think you’re not experienced enough. We here to learn and don’t be shy to critique, if one can’t take critique on their works they shouldn’t be posting publicly on an open discussion site.
Used whirl and pinch to push the vanishing point blending the original sides back in. Did some eyeball color enhancements afterwards. Yes; clone/heal brush work, too.
After just four hours I’m personally called upon an edit. This sets me under pressure. And you know, at a certain age it starts, that it doesn’t work under pressure.
I was asked for drama, so here comes a little bit of drama. I’m not yet really happy with it. I guess I as well struggle a bit with the colour palette, even though I tried to alter it to please me more.
