The “Raising of the Holy Cross” Roman-Catholic Church in Cruceni, Arad, Romania. The village where my grandpa lives, where I used to spend most of my summer holidays as a kid.

.

This well is right in front of my grandpa’s house.

When I was a kid I would drink directly from the bucket. It used to have crystal clear, ice cold water, actually probably the best water I ever tasted.

Now it’s been abandoned since the village got potable tap water years ago. Still makes for a great picture.

Beautiful. I especially like the second one.

Just out of curiosity: Is the orange illumination from sodium-vapor (old) street lamps already present at the scene and the blueish-white light your doing? Or is this all done in post?

certainly looks like there’s a daylight balanced flash involved.

Yes, the orange illumination is just ambient street lighting, while the well is light painted with the most basic led lantern you can imagine.
