Light Rays options

The filter “Light rays” show the color (white) used in the process.
Could it be (easily) improved by adding the choice of the color like in
other G’MIC filters?

Thanks, but I do not want to have “special” (user’s) version for G’MIC filters.
If the solution can be approved by David and saved into the std G’MIC. then OK.
The problem is not so serious, just it would be nice (light rays are not always just only white…)
But again: thanks for your help.
