This years light show at the zoo was really good, and these puppets were brilliant. My photo does not do it justice! However, it has been fun to edit and quite challenging to salvage something from it.
I am learning not to be overly concerned with noise, but if you zoom in you will see that there is a lot of it, so I am interested to see how you deal with it. The tiger is clipped, I wasn’t paying attention.
Just interested to see how you might salvage this one.
I like it… But I cheated a bit.
I wanted to see if I could process this one in Snapseed, as I’m just in the living room relaxing right now.
I have no idea what this will look like on a monitor, but it looked alright on a small screen.
Also, I’m not certain I’d know where to find an xmp for this, if there is one.

Noise? What noise?
I enjoyed the glow that the tiger gave to the concrete whilst still overall a dark scene; just a little equalizer to bring up the handler’s details.
I have to say, pleasantly surprised. It’s good to see the different versions, in particular the general colour casts.
@martin.scharnke I said I am learning not to be too concerned with noise, but your result is marvelous. I will have to check your XMP and see what I can learn.
My version with a fully blown out tiger.
First edit with darktable: DSC_0015.nef.xmp (7.1 KB).
Then a custom film sim using data from Kodak Vision3 and Kodak Portra Endura.
