Lighttable thumbnail overlay/tooltip doesn't display any information

I don’t know what I did. When mouse over thumbnails in lighttable, there is no information display for the picture anymore. How do I fix it? Here is my setting and I use Windows.

Select the star icon above the thumbnail area (top right) and select the overlay mode you prefer.

just to clarify what @pehar was suggesting I have attached a screen shot. I idn’t realise this option existed, so thank @pehar

I had the same setting as yours, not sure why it didn’t work. I changed it to “extended overlays on mouse hover” and able to see the information. Thanks for the suggestion!
