Lily growing wild at home

The Lily is intense red and over saturated, managing the color and keeping it bright at the same time was the challenging part. This is what I could do. What would you do? Part of the challenge was my camera; it is two decades old

I desaturated/softened everything since you mentioned you thought it was oversaturated but downplayed a lot of the background, so even though the flower is so desaturated, it still stands out.

Because of the lack of detail in the flower, it reminded me of a watercolor painting, so G’mic in Gimp:

Without having seen the flower I feel I am flying blind and just had a go a putting more color into the image and downplaying the background.

Extracted and created simple seamless texture.

And then used Mathmap to create the perspective (with some color enhancements). :slight_smile:
