I used the supplied .xmp file (it does not look like it corresponds to the jpg but maybe that is my horrible laptop screen??)
For me, the subject was that wonderful sky. The path lights and street lights in the distance really fought against it. So i removed them by crushing the “brilliance” of everything in Color Balance RGB. After export I see I could have done a better job on the mask, but I think it shows where I was going with the image ok.
I didnt want to touch the color and contrasts, because I really liked them in the jpg here in the original post.

My first go was bugging me, even if it served its purpose, so here is another go. On my crappy laptop so sorry if colors are wonky.
