I would like to suggest January 15, 1800 UTC for the next live meeting.
The topic I am most interesed in right now: what about trying to organize a real physical meeting? I don’t know about plans to continue LGM in the near fugture, so let’s try to make an open source photographer’s meeting, kind of pixls community meeting, on a smaller scale than LGM.
I suggest February. January 15 is too soon for a physical meeting. People need to make travel plans. Unless it is in Ontario, Canada, I don’t have the means to attend in person but would like to participate remotely (actively participating, not watching a broadcast).
Edit: I may have misread. Is a topic at this meeting about planning an in-person meeting?
That’s my wife’s birthday so I’ll probably be unable to stick around for long “happy birthday honey, now I’m going to go hang out with some nerds on the internet” usually doesn’t result in marital happiness. Hopefully I’ll be able to step in few a few minutes at least though.
I think that will be Jitsi, if none else voluteers to set up something else. I might try to set up Jitsi on my VPS, but I wonder if 4 GB of RAM are enough.
I’ll ask my family if we have plans for the weekend, and will host in Google Meet if we’re not going away. I think we’ll probably be home Sunday evening.
