Long Lenses and Blossoms

With the unfortunate demise of WeSaturate, I thought I’d drop some of the images I submitted there over here, which is probably where I should have placed them to begin with. This was taken with an old Nikkor 80-200 f2.8 push-pull on my D700. A fantastic lens, to be sure, but far too cumbersome for my broken back, which is why I sold it not long after.

I couldn’t come up with a crop that I liked that was different than the others posted here. The saying “You can’t see the forest through the trees,” came to mind but only because this seems to be the antithesis to that. Very nice!
