Mac os X: shift-command-L shortcut (left panel show/hide) stopped working

Hi all,
I am running darktable 4.8.1 on Mac OS X Sonoma 14.7.1. I noticed today that the shortcut shift-command-L for showing/hiding the left panel stopped working. I checked the Mac Os keyboard shortcut settings, and there’s no shortcut with that keyboard mapping. Also, the shortcut is correctly defined in the darktable settings. Has anybody else noticed this behavior?

Works with current master (4.9.0+1138~g6f9eb48321) on Ubuntu 24.04.

no issue on my mac.
it’s in my ~/.config/darktable/shortcutsrc as it is defined in ~/.config/darktable/shortcutsrc.defaults:
l;shift;cmd=global/panels/left
