MacOS versions open and then crash

Hello everyone.
I came across Natron in an article regarding HitFilm going subscription mode and thought I’d give Natron try.
Unfortunately, not long after the interface has loaded, 30 seconds maybe, it crashes without trace.
I am using High Sierra 10.13.6 Mac Pro 2010, 16Gb RAM, Radeon HD 5770 1024 RAM.
Crash reporter gave:
Crashed Thread: 2 Global Thread (Pooled) (0x60c00026f528)
Exception Type: EXC_BAD_ACCESS (SIGSEGV)
Exception Codes: KERN_INVALID_ADDRESS at 0x0000000000000028
Exception Note: EXC_CORPSE_NOTIFY
Termination Signal: Segmentation fault: 11
Termination Reason: Namespace SIGNAL, Code 0xb
Terminating Process: exc handler [0]

I tried Natron on my Imac 2017 (Ventura) in case it was just that computer (being as it’s old) with the same results, save when opening ‘New Project’ another instance of Natron was created. On closing the first instance, both instances crashed.

Both programs will crash if you do nothing once the interface is loaded.

Help please.

Probably due to (Bug): Natron 2.4.4/2.5.0 binary segfault macOS · Issue #860 · NatronGitHub/Natron · GitHub

Thanks very much I will give them a whirl.
