Making RT read the exposure field in the XMP on "import"?

Since RT and most other processors are too slow for culling and initial browsing, I use FastRawViewer for this purpose. It can do simple labelling and exposure tweaks, but it seems RT does not respect these at all. Can I make it use them when it first sees a file? They are stored in a sidecar XMP file:

No, RT does not read XMP files. But with a bit of scripting, you could parse the XMP and create a pp3 file before you launch RT.

Absolutely, thought about doing that for a split-second, but thought I would refrain from that if there was some built-in support for this.
