Meyer-Optik Lydith?

There is a semi-antique Lydith lens (Meyer-Optik, Görlitz; M42, 30mm/3.5) for sale locally, at a comfortable price. Anyone having good or bad experience from that lens?

The main reason why I am not rushing to buy it is that I already have a Meyer-Optik Orestegon 29mm/2.8… Apart from the joy of owning yet another lens, would there be a sufficient difference between them?

Did you end up getting the lens?

I made a review for it here

I used one these lenses for many years with my Zenit E until they were both stolen. Well made lens that gave good results…

@zerosapte
W-e-l-l, no, not that one, but…

Oldest son found one in an old camera bag of mine which he excavated
from my attic last year. Actually, I bought that (the Lydith) in the 1960s
for my Edixa camera :grinning:

This it is, nowadays adapter’d for Fuji-X service:
