Migrating from LR getting collection data to Darktable

AFAIK sidecar files have no collection info so how can I get my collections from LR to Darktable?

Generally I think people just use tags in darktable and have one “collection.”

Otherwise you’ll need to write some custom launch scripts that have separate cache and config directories for each collection. See darktable 4.6 user manual - darktable
