i did not have an umbrella with me. rain no mercy in june, i had to sprint down the mountain, but in the end i decided to let it soak me. by the time i was down, the warm light of the quiet town in twilight healed my heart.

Thanks for sharing, very fun to play with. Tried to go for an outrun aesthetic while still keeping it semi-natural

EDIT: for some reason my darktable preview is darker than in the browser.

This reminds me of the fateful night of 19th June 2024 when I retired from motorbike riding. A wet drizzly night and a car driver didn’t see me and pulled out of a business driveway and turned towards me. I hit the car head on and wrote off the Subaru and my motorbike. Luckily I only got severe concussion and bilateral rib fractures. Glad to see this rider has proper safety gear on.

My play in GIMP.
Accentuated the reflection of the headlight on the road and darkened the road surface. Increased saturation on the visor and the boots.

I went for the dramatic colour grade. Had a first attempt that was far too green.
