Multiple Instances of Color Look Up Table in Darktable?

Hello,

I want to use the Color Look Up Table module in Darktable using 96 different color patches. However, it seems like the module can have a maximum of 49 color patches. Is it advisable for me to use 2 instances of the Color Look Up Table, each with 48 different color patches so that I’ll have a total of 96 color patches? Or does the second instance of Color Look Up Table override the first instance?

Also, for context, I am using these many color patches because I want to match the colors of a jpeg from a different camera.

You can have multiple instances but all of these instances affects the whole image if you don’t restrict via masks.
The input of an instance is the output of its predecessor

Separate instances don’t override each-other, the 2nd instance uses the output of the first as input.

So have you tried the DT chart feature to make your jpg match and see how that looks…its only the 49 patches and a tone curve but it might be easier than what you are trying to do…also I have found that a colormatched icc from this method is also not bad…

I’ve used if for a few test cases…I don’t edit that way ie matching the jpg but it seemed like the results were pretty decent…
