Hey, I took some time to make a video review of the software workflow I have been using to scan my film negatives to positive this past year.
I thought it was worth a video because of my unusual choice of software which I think may interest some curious minds out here.
As a spoiler that software is Nuke, but as you may know, the workflow can easily be translated to Natron which I showcase at the end.
Do not hesitate if you have comment, first time I’m making this type of niche video so I have no idea if that interest people or how could I improve it.
My workflow was built around camera scanning using raw files but I’ll be curious if people manage to have satisfying result with other hardware like traditional scanners.
So let me know if you got anything !
Fascinating workflow. Thank you for sharing it. It was interesting to learn about Nuke and Natron, I’ve never seen them in action before.
My film scanning workflow is comparatively simple: camera-scan with a Valoi Easy35, then develop in darktable. But I don’t shoot as much film as I used to.
