I have the same problem as well.

Need a LOT more information from both of you regarding your systems; saying “Natron doesn’t open” gives everybody absolutely no idea what hardware & software you have.
There can be many reasons why it doesn’t open, including hardware/driver issues and software/OS issues. If you have an AMD APU/Intel CPU + AMD dGPU, try launching Natron with the proper OpenGL GPU selected or reinstalling graphics drivers. If that doesn’t work, try the latest build from here: https://github.com/acolwell/Natron/releases/tag/nightly.

I’m on debian Trixie, GPU GTX1080, intel CPU

Is there any nightly build for Linux ?

What kind of information I can provide to help ?

As far as I know, right now there are only Windows nightly builds for Natron 2.6. It looks like you’re getting a segfault, so this could be related to errors caused by an old libfreetype package (bundled in Natron), which creates broken symlinks. This means the devs will need to make a new updated release for 2.5.0, which seems unlikely as Natron doesn’t have LTS. We will need to wait till a 2.6 release for Linux comes out. Till then, you can try running Natron in a VM with an older Linux version. I’m still using PopOS 22.04 and Natron 2.5.0 runs fine, so try a Debian version from around that time.
