New User but Pixls.us not sending to gmail

Hi - new user @AaronE here; coming from ultravioletphotography.com and happily learning Raw Therapee. I signed up here on 1 Jan, but never got the activation/confirmation email to my gmail account. I tried on multiple days and times with no success. I changed my login email to my (nearly obsolete because I’m retired) .edu account, and bingo! immediately got the activation email.

I then tried to add my gmail account as a secondary, but again to no avail. And no, it’s not in my spam box or anywhere else I can see there.

I’d really like this to work with my gmail account since my edu one will eventually be sunsetted.

Thank you very much @kofa . I see from the thread that as of last month still not solved, but anyway it is working through my .edu account, so for now I can participate!

Letters from pixls.us regularly end up in the Spam folder. The mail engine writes:
This email ended up in your Spam folder for the following reasons:
The sender failed verification spf

Of course, SPF is an evil that must be defeated. :wink:

Yup, we are hashing out details with a new email provider so that we know we are in the clear. Discourse sends a lot of email (too much if you ask me :person_shrugging:)
