New version vs. old version of LBB

I set up a RPi with LBB about a year ago. I didn’t know anything about Linux or Raspberry Pi at the time (I’m a Mac guy) and it took me a while to get everything working just right. Since then there have been several updates to LBB, but AFAIK they don’t add any functionality that I need.

Assuming the old version of LBB just works, is there any compelling reason to install a newer version? Specifically, is there a significant speed or stability boost in the newer versions?

TIA

If your current setup works for you, there is no reason to upgrade.

Kind regards,
