For the film pros, what are the advantages of a tilting lens vs something like the fuji gx617? It does look a lot more compact.
Tom Wood, the Irish photographer who moved to Liverpool in 1978, used it for his street photography sometimes and it creates concave (edit: convex, back of a spoon) effects, including distortion if there’s certain movement in the frame. I think it’s quite different to a regular panoramic camera.
Incidentally, I like Wood’s pics in working class areas of Merseyside, where he became known as Photie Man by the locals.
