Hi! I just installed GIMP for the first time mostly to use as a way to print photos. I was expecting the print dialog box to look something like the documentation indicates here, but instead I get a two-tabbed window like the image I’ve uploaded.
I’m running GIMP 2.10.30 on Windows 7. Is there a plugin I need to download for full print window functionality? Thanks!
@FluffYeti Welcome to the forum! I like your handle!
I believe the print dialog has to do with your OS, which happens to be Windows 7. (I have Windows 10 and have the same dialog as you. I would use the second tab and/or click on Preferences for more printer options.) Very likely the documentation writer had a flavour of Linux.
I love GIMP, but for me it is more or less unusable for printing on Windows. For simple images I use IrfanView on Windows, for more fancy stuff I place the images in Scribus into frames and then print it.
