If possible, I would like to get a better understanding of the difference between using a windows build from @gaaned92 for a specific cpu class like Skylake vs using one of the direct downloads found here Direct download links to the latest RawTherapee development version. which are not specific to a particular cpu class.
In what way are the @gaaned92 builds optimized for a particular cpu that would benefit using them over the direct download versions?
