I am using Nikon camera and shooting in Nikon Raw (NEF) format.
In Siril the preview is correct but when I open the file the display is some grey stripes this happens also after the conversion in FIT format.
I am using Siril 1.2.6 on MacOs with Intel processor.
Is it known or I am doing something wrong?
This is very difficult to say. Without screenshot, images, or anything else I can’t say a lot.

also after converting the file the display is wrong, the console said teh conversion succeeded.
If you need I can send the NEF file as example.
You didn’t specify you camera model. I suspect these could be the more recent NEF HE (high efficiency) compressed? That mode is not yet supported by any FLOSS app, please try w/ “traditional” lossless compressed NEF.
Edit: Yep, I see Z6III in the screenshot… Might struggle even w/ full lossless mode support (e.g. accurate input color profile) since the model is so new…

Yes, I am using a Z6III
I changed the RAW compression mode and I was able to import the photo but it is in Black and White.
I will covert the photos in TIFF and use Siril.

The black and white is normal. Please you should read documentation and/or tutorial before.
