Hello, installed Rawtherapee 5.6 on Windows 10 pc. I don’t have the Favorite tab, what can I do?

Don(t find anything!@PhilippeVDD You may need to wait for the GUI for this feature to be implemented, hopefully in 5.7… Otherwise, if you tell us more detail about what part of the instructions don’t make sense, somebody might be able to help.
Make sure you look in the right place, for me in Win 7 it was in the Users\me]\AppData\Local\RawTherapee folder.
Don’t forget to have RT closed, make backup and use a safe text editor.

@mbs can’t find ‘options’ file! Can’t locate the Favorites= key in the GUI section. 
Will be better I wait version 5.7. Thanks anyway for the help 
- If RawTherapee is running, turn it off. This is to ensure that your manual edits to the
optionsfile remain intact. - Edit the
optionsfile in a text editor. - Locate the
Favorites=key in theGUIsection.

Hi, is it the same for Mac? I found the option file in RawTherapee.app/Contents/Resources, but in the GUI section I don’t see the Favorites=. Should I look somewhere else?

Just after [GUI] you should find Favorites=. I think that if not present, you can add it.
According to http://rawpedia.rawtherapee.com/File_Paths
typing set LOCALAPPDATA in a DOS shell should show you location of Rawtherapee dir, inside which you will find the options file.

Thank you. Problem solved on the Mac, I was editing the wrong file. The one to edit is: ~/Library/Application Support/RawTherapee/config/options
Rawtherapee 5.6 is working great, thanks to everybody involved in its development
