I just downloaded Natron (im a total beginner to video editiing)
I was following along with youtube tutorials to make simple videos and when I was trying to write my file I keep coming up with the error "No plugin found capable of encoding (file type)
Ive been searching everywhere for an answer. Please help!
First guess: you added the filename in the filetype field in the file dialog?
If i dont add a file name it doesnt let me save anything. I can endlessly keep pressing save and nothing happens. I know it will probably be a really simple fix I just don’t seem to see it!
it was just a guess since you didn’t provide any in-depth info. Do you use Windows 7?
Please tell us what operating system you are using, exactly describe what the trouble is and also provide some screens shots.
I just tested h264 .mp4 export on Ubuntu 20.04 LTS in this works without any trouble, see my settings here:
