Hello, I’ve tried to load RAW files from ILCE 7M5 in the beta from Rawtherapee but there is showing nothing. No pictures and no warning.
The release notes are saying that this new format is supported.
I’m using the Appimage in a Debian derivate (Neptune OS)
Do somebody have an idea?
Have you gone into the preferences and checked the box to enable the format?
Are you shooting lossless?
Hello, if you mean the RawDecoder checkbox - yes and yesterday I’ve shot photos in all (three) variants and just a view minutes ago I’ve shot some photos loosless.
And nothing will be showed!
The ILCE-7M5 images must be 14-bit Lossless to be recognized by RawTherapee.

Thanks, that was the “kick” - there is a setting at the storage place menue, that need additional setting .
Thank to all for help
Welcome to the forums!
In ARW v6, the lossy compression methods actually cook the image down to something called “11+7bit” which has a number of curves and low-pass filters applied, thereby ceasing to be raw. The lossless compression method preserves the entire 14bit dynamic range of the sensor.
The LibRaw master branch should now also support the new lossy compressed ARW 6.0 format.
