Author not much involved, just be there, press shutter twice, and let Hugin(*) do the job (which required a couple of clicks).

(*) I tried Hugin several years ago when it was still fairly “roots”. How much progress since.
(**) You could see the Mont-Saint-Michel in the picture (15 miles away…) but it’s hidden by the summit of the islet.

Well, Hugin even congratulated mefor the fit between the two pictures. But even hand-held that was easy, the horizon isn’t smack in the middle by luck, I aligned it in the viewfinder.
