So Siril is amazing, but it is missing something important - noise reduction! Is anyone working on that for Siril?

If you are referring to image post processing then there is a feature called Median Filter which I use with setting 3x3 kernel and 3 iterations which gives an effect very similar to e.g. Gimp noise reduction.
no. We are just a small team in Siril, and so far none of us work on it.
There are 2 options - median filter and atrous wavelets. Both, especially wavelets are quite effective, but need to be aware that they will apply across the image as there is no masking feature (at least as far as I know).
