I used the experimental spektrafilm module in darktable. But I could not reuse the original XMP because many things have changed since I made that original edit. I made a new one based on 37ac235 of the spektrafilm module PR.
The clipped window highlight was very hard to handle, so I look forward to see darktable wizards here to show me how it is done
I love the contrast to the version in the original post. This is bright, clean, sharp and the colours play with eachother. The original is warm, cozy, old fashioned. Nice to have these two versions next to eachother
DT 5.6 so not sprektrafilm module to test. Because of the over exposed windows I went for the bloom option inspired by @gwbarn IMG_9028.CR3.xmp (17.6 KB)
I tried spektrafilm experimental and vkdt filmsim, but I like this version better. Added a little simulated halation plus bloom in bright areas. I had to continue the bloom theme.
Inspired by @Doug-Phoenix limiting bloom o highlights I applied a parametric mask for the bloom effect. I also brightened the shadows more. I still prefer @Doug-Phoenix rendition than mine. IMG_9028.CR3.xmp (20.3 KB)

Did not try to correct blown out parts in window and on carpet.
Did not use tonemapper.
Played around making a slight lightrays comming from the windows
Wanted some bloom but could not yet come to grips with that.
Goal was a light/bright warm version where the bluer light outside blends with the warmer bulb light inside.
Based on your version, I thought I’d try again, but starting with the color grading I made in the dt edit above.
I don’t have the dt-spektrafilm plugin, so I exported without tonemapper, Halation, and bloom to linear Rec.2020 exr and edited in spektrafilm_experimental, starting with a Verita preset:
I’m away from the edit rig and out of RAW time anyway so just dropping some notes as the scene evokes many pleasant family Sunday afternoon memories
If I ever get back to it I’d mask out windows and the sunny carpet and try to bloom both to taste. There seem to be some blown out rays in the carpet also unfortunately. The color palette is a nice mix SOOC with the muted greens and browns and then a jolly screaming red plant in between so lots of inspiration for coloration there.
And crop to about here and clone out the rest of the plant in the left window:
