Online Film Emulator

So, a couple of years back I had created a bunch of analog film emulation CLUTs (Color Lookup Tables) that I worked with David Tschumperlé (G’MIC) to let people use them in GIMP through the G’MIC plugin.

Since then, they’ve also been integrated into RawTherapee. And now, Jonas Wagner has created a really neat method for applying the CLUTs in-browser:

In case anyone was interested in giving them a test run. You can load your own images up (I don’t believe they get uploaded anywhere, just loaded in-browser locally), and apply the emulations.

Thought it might be fun for some to try out… :slight_smile:

Just wanted to let Jonas know that his software is very well done.
I like his web-app for photo forensics as well as the one noted.

We should ping @Jonas_Wagner so he sees the compliment! :slight_smile:

Not sure how to “ping” on this board. Can you explain or point me to the instructions?

Regards;
Gary

Thank you for the kind words Gary, I’m glad you like my little tools. I’m actually adding new features to them now, an offline mode and a new vibrance control based on darktables velvia (without my magic sauce to protect skin colors).

To “ping” someone just write @the_persons_name for instance @Gary_G should notify you. :slight_smile:
