Open Source, 3d printed pano head

Well this was a pleasant surprise: About Eclíck – Motorized Robotic Panorama Head Project

Its an open hardware, 3d printable, automatic panorama head. This seems extremely cool.

I usually take my panoramas handheld (and often regret it when seeing blurry photos because I didn’t stop moving completely for the shot), but this is really interesting

Starts at 270 EUR, which is cheap for a pano head!

I also often make panoramas handheld. But then, if prallax artefacts are likely a pano head is a nice tool to have in order to deal with the nodal point. Also if you make high resolution panos with a tele lens a pano head is almost necessary. It must be a joy to work with a motorized one (mine is not).
