OpenCL solution for Linux/Radeon 55o

I’ve been struggling with this for a while, and finally ran across a way to enable openCl on my Linux OS/Radeon 550.

Thanks for this. I looked at the AUR and could really do with some guidelines on how to install these packages. How did you do it, in simple terms for my simple brain, please!

take it from another simple brain, follow the directions step by step, I’m on Manjaro, so I used my package manager to locate the files in either the distro repository or the (Arch User Repository) AUR, and installed them one at a time. Every thing seemed to work. If you are on another distro, the packages may be found in other repositories. That would be a bit beyond my knowledge to help you with, but I’d suggest either your distro’s forums, or mister google. Good luck, hope it works out.
