Openshot (Video) How to change color grading?

Hi,

I use OpenShot because … well, I am no videographer and OpenShot is the only video-editor that I halfway get along with. It’s the only I have ever used, too ;o) *

How do I change the color grading for a video? Example: I shoot a video in autumn on an overcast day in a forest and I would like to make the colors less blueish-gray and more “warmish” green-brown.

Can I do that in OS? For some clips, sections or the entire film?

Is there anyone in the know?

(*) I once edited a film in Kino and it was OK, but Kino couldn’t cope with 16:9, only 4:3, so the entire video looked horribly wrong - everything was suspiciously thin (because squeezed to +/- 2/3 of it’s width). I had to do the entire edit again in the one other editor I could easily find was OpenShot. I never looked back afterwards.

Yes, there’s Cinelerra and all that stuff, but … I’m no videographer …

Maybe something like this

Select the effects tab, click-n-drag the hue onto the time line.

That puts a small icon top of the track, right click and select properties

Click on the hue slider and drag to suit.
