OpenStitch on OpenSuse Tumbleweed.

As I noted in this post, I am having trouble stitching with both Hugin and Xpano.

I am just about to give up on both of them. When I can get Hugin to run it doesn’t find any control points and consequent processing sometimes works and sometimes doesn’t. Xpano just errors out. I have been unable to find anything on the web to help, and, TBH, I am not sure how well these two programs are being developed and maintained.

I was going to try OpenStitich, but I can’t get it to install. The Python environment in Tumbleweed is managed, and Python itself is at version 3.13. A system install (zypper install python313-stitching) can’t find the program.

Any help with any of these would be appreciated.

(I am happy to post the images I want to stitch, if anybody wants to try).

to me it looks like that this tool isnt packaged for openSUSE Tumbleweed at all.

Agreed, I can’t find it in the repositories on the OpenSuse download site.
