Our house, is a very very fine house (infrared at 720nm)

Here’s an image I shot this morning on my IR-converted Pentax K-5 with the 43mm Ltd lens and a 720nm filter. Have at it!

Only very, very fine? Not very, very, very fine? Do you have two cats in the yard, too? LOL

Who knows… Maybe not too many people remember that song anymore.

Nice image (of a very, very fine house!)

I was surprised by the lack of colour in the foliage - I assumed you’d desaturated it, but there just isn’t any
I don’t know the song either… :expressionless:

Generally you white balance IR using foliage, so it’s expected to be white, and with 720nm there’s only a very small amount of non-IR light getting through to the sensor

There definitely is a bit of color left in that channel and a bit of fiddling with the color contrast module as well as the color zones module can bring it out but I prefer my foliage somewhat desaturated rather than trying to pump up the minimal color info in that area TBH.

A legendary song which takes me way back to my highschool days and the Deja Vu album.

A fun image to play with.
I like the whiteness of the foliage, so I have exaggerated it!
