Trying to help someone over-there > Still a Mac gmic-qt standalone version?

I discovered that the 2 links for Mac on the G’MIC website are way outdated, the one to the Aferrero2707 is 6-yo and the other one to partha.com does not work anymore as Partha did move on to something else (no more GIMP nor G’MIC)…

Instead I would recommend for the mac users to put a link to homebrew or macports, which are usually up to date (and arguably a lot more well known and more “official/trustable” for a mac user as those are community driven and packages downloaded by millions).

Homebrew > gmic — Homebrew Formulae

Tried gmic with Homebrew on a Mac M1. It did not work as some libraries (CV and alike) did not get loaded.
