Shot on an overcast day, trying to keep the colors cool and natural without making it look too flat. Used auto levels in GIMP and adjusted local contrast in Darktable. Wondering if the verticals feel off, and whether the color balance and tone curve could use more work. Thanks

FWIW … the first one is from a base style in DT (just exp. correction (sigmoid) + auto vert. perspective correction.

Just for the records … the next one came out of ON1 Raw ‘Brilliance AI’ (one click) + quick manual persp. correction and crop.

When I try to soften the clouds in RT, it is very difficult not to get a bright edge at the transition from roof to sky.
