I am using Rawtherapee version 5.3 from the official ubuntu 18.04 package. I wanted to test version5.7, so I download the appimage for linux (5.7). But whith this appimage lensfun correction does not works.
After searching it turns out that, on my PC, the last line of the
“~ /.config/RawTherapee/option” file is:
“DBDirectory =” (with nothing after ‘=’)
After adding the location of lensfun in the option file, my two versions are working. I conclude that these two versions don’t search this parameter in the same files which seems to me an anomaly.
Version from ubuntu package : GNU GPL V3 5.3
Version from appimage : GNU GPL V3 5.5
