This is great news. Chrome removed JXL support from the browser due to “low demand”, so they would prop up their AVIF format, and now they will be forced to support it, or add it as a dependency, if they want to keep supporting PDFs :smiley:

Yes, this is great news. Browser support would be a milestone, my understanding is that Firefox is waiting for a robust Rust implementation.
