Where would one find this machine? I checked the couple versions of Gimp I have installed and Global matting is my only option, and couldn’t find anything about it in a couple online queries… thanks

This was an older (and more sophisticated) method of foreground selection that was much better than the then-current SIOX implementation. If you’re using a dev version of GIMP (2.9.X) then you’ll likely already be using it (we’ve integrated it into the FG selection tool in new versions).

I decided to try something in RawTherapee that’s different from my usual workflow: a dark and moody edit. Think about suddenly meeting this little guy while hiking in a deep and misty forest.
