PlayRaw: Sleeping bumblebee

Woke up this morning to find a bumblebee fast asleep in one of our sunflowers. Taken with off-camera flash (amazingly the bee kept sleeping through this - he was there for over an hour before he woke up and flew away.)

My take is here, but I’m interested to see what anyone else can do with it.

Nice shot, @Karl!
One interpretation would be to put all emphasis on Sleeping Beauty:

Your 100mm macro lens seems to be a good one

Have fun!

Are you sure it’s only sleeping?

Yes - it woke up about an hour after I finished shooting, gathered some more pollen then flew away.

Thank goodness!
