Had a go at this with the filmic module and a few tweaks to get rid of the blue compression in the mountains in the background, some sharpening using the equalizer and a few tweaks to the saturation using the tone curve, LAB mode and a parametric mask.

Oh, they’ve been sending communications for a good few millennia. If anyone wants to translate these two, be my guest.
Compared to your first foray into Play Raw, this one is more deliberate and sophisticated. In particular, I enjoyed what you did with the shadows and textures.
Haven’t thought about that, but maybe it’s related to the partial dehazing, where I applied it stronger to the foreground in order to make it pop from the background. The way I did it, however, is confusing and there’s certainly simpler ways to achieve the same result.
All this talk is for nought if I don’t contribute to this fantastic image. As usual, I went for the minimalist route. Enjoy!
